Principle of the vault

The Vault Assault is officially intended to test the effectiveness of Shadow Immortals. In fact, it's mostly a good way for us Shadows to get gold, incuses and legendary items… if we're careful and don't get caught. Indeed the vault is guarded, some creations are there to prevent you from moving forward and opening the chests. You will have to kill them all to access the sequel, by placing yourself on slabs on the ground at the end of the level, you will be sent to the next floor and in the very last room, their champion is waiting for you.

The other creations, the Guardians, recognizable by their star crystals around their heads and their bells that they will wave, have the role of warning the Immortals of your presence. You will have to kill them first to avoid this, unless obviously your intention is to confront them. A group of Immortals of 1 to 4 players will come to defend the vault and try to take back what you have stolen.
Anyway, they will be warned when you arrive on the 4th floor, cross the sealed slabs being prepared, otherwise take the portal to leave the room on the 3rd floor and secure your loot.

Looting begins with collecting essences. The essence recovery progress is 18% at the first level, then 40% at the second, 70% at the third and 100% at the fourth. The essence is used to start the Trial of Kion, a raid for 48 immortal players that allows them to distribute legendary items to their clan upon victory. The essence stolen by the Shadows during the attack will therefore slow their progress.

Vault Reward

The greater the quantity of essences collected by the player, the greater the percentage chance of recovering a legendary object. The legendaries that can be had are those that are part of a list available for weekend distribution by the Immortals. The legendary can drop from any chest if you're lucky, but you only receive it at the end of the mission if it's a success. In other words if you were able to escape alive, if your group dies you will lose it.

There are 10 chests on 4 levels; 1 on the first floor, 2 on the second, 3 on the third and 4 on the fourth. Each chest contains 40 incuses and between 15k and 17,5k gold. If you die, a member of the group can resuscitate you and you can recover the loot but if the group dies, you lose the gold and the incuses collected.

In addition to the incuses of the chests, the game gives us 10, 20, 30, 40 or 50 incuses depending on the essences and therefore the number of levels emptied. This number will be added to the number of incuses that you will have found in the chests at the end of mission report, but only this first number will be deducted from the 350 incuses that we can have. It is thus possible to have a mission reward of 350 incuses and to open 40 chests per week. The progression of the number of incuses acquired and of chests still to be recovered can be consulted with the NPC Fyggus who is in front of the portal to the vault. It is possible to return there to have the 350 incuses of the week. You can make 5 forays into the vault per day with a ten minute wait between each.

Guild and Personal Mission

On Saturday, the clan leader chooses an objective for the week, either doing contracts, or opening chests in the vault, or winning the rite of Exile. On that day, it is not possible to count chests or contracts even if they are made. If you even open a chest from the vault, it counts for your clan's quest even if you have already opened its 40 chests for the week.

The chests opened by the group in the vault are counted in the chests of the week which you can open to have incuses and gold even if you do not collect the loot. They are also counted in the shadow quest of the rank activities of the week, within the limit of 40 weekly chests for both.

Some precisions

Here is some additional information about the Vault:

  • Assault on the Vault is a Shadow activity available from 12 p.m. to 13 p.m. and from 19 p.m. to 20 p.m., conversely the immortals defend it on this slot
  • You must form a group of 4 to enter.
  • If you manage to defeat the group of Immortals, they will have the option to come back to face you after a certain period of time.
  • Any mission can only start in the time slot but can be finished out of time.
  • Once entered, members who leave the group will be expelled from the instance without the others being.
  • If the group leader wants to expel a member, he will also be expelled.

dm gaming staff

You will thus have all the information to effectively attack or defend the vault of Diablo Immortal, i.e. by recovering as many resources as possible each week if you are a shadow or, conversely, by saving the most gasoline if you are immortal!
